Amazing all-mountain and enduro riding in the legendary PDS Ref CY1G

The mecca of mountain biking!! Portes du Soleil – The biggest mountain bike park in the world, at the foot of the Mont Blanc, with magnificent views of Lake Geneva. A trip that takes you through Swiss and French alpine meadows on 650km of dedicated MTB trails. Pure All-Mountain and Enduro riding, only a stone’s throw from the mighty Mont Blanc. Endless singletrack, thanks to the 25 dedicated chairlifts, offering the possibility to link epic descents with minimal effort! A route that makes its way through Les Gets, Morzine and Champery, world famous for their downhill mountain bike competitions: World Cup in Les Gets in 2004, Champery in 2010.

Day 1: Les Gets - Les Gets

Itinerary start: France Bike trips services begin on day 1 at 10am in Les Gets. On request we can book the previous night's accommodation for you in Les Gets.

We start the trip with a tour of the various trails the Les Gets resort has to offer, adding in a few hidden local gems.
An opportunity to get used to the terrain, evaluate the ability of group members, and make a few final adjustments to the bikes.
Dedicated chairlifts take us effortlessly to the summit of Mont Chery, with its exceptional views of the surrounding mountains and the peak of the Mont Blanc!!

Distance covered: approx. 30 km, ascent: 200m, descent: 2000m

Day 2: Les Gets – Châtel

The adventure begins here! We ride through the resorts of Morzine and Avoriaz, before crossing the Swiss border for the first time, and making our way past a magnificent opal coloured lake surrounded by pristine alpine scenery. We then begin the tour of the Perthuis Mountain before arriving in Châtel, with its famous slope style course.

Distance covered: approx. 45 km, ascent: 800m, descent: 3000m

Day 3: Châtel - Avoriaz

Destination Switzerland!! An initial chairlift ride sees us heading for Morgins and Champoussin, Les Crosets and Champery, with alpine singletrack and picture postcard Swiss mountain scenery, before crossing back over the border to our hotel in Avoriaz.

Distance covered: approx. 50 km, ascent: 1000m, descent: 3000m

Day 4: Avoriaz - Les Gets

A final day on the trails of Avoriaz and Morzine, with a dip in the Lac Montriond. Perfect to cool off and reminisce on the trails and mountains of the previous 4 days, before ending on some secret local trails.

Distance covered: approx. 30 km, ascent: 200m, descent: 2000m

Itinerary end: France Bike Trips services end in Les Gets on the last day at around 4 pm. On request we can book the following night's accommodation for you in Les Gets.
