Sea, sun and singletrack! Liguria is already famous in the MTB world for the trails in and around Finale Ligure, but we couldn't resist putting together a point-to-point trip. It’s mission accomplished with this circuit that takes in some of the best riding the area has to offer, coupled with the magic of following the beautiful coastline and the Mediterranean Sea! A route that takes you through lush valleys and over high summits, through small picturesque villages and sheltered creeks and bays… In the course of a day we ride through a mix of coastal vegetation, deep deciduous woodland and pine forests before finishing on the coast surrounded by palm trees! Starting on the superb singletrack trails that wind their way along the coast, we climb up into the hills each day, where an ever-changing panorama offers beautiful views of the sea and the surrounding peaks of the Ligurian Alps. Singletrack balcony trails overlooking the sea are definitely the local speciality, second only to the famous “Pesto alla Genovese”. The area is also teaming with super flowy singletrack descents that lead us all the way back down to the sea and the local “gelateria”. Then it's time for a cold drink at a bar terrace and an opportunity to wander through the historical centres of the beautiful coastal towns.
France Bike Trips first rode in Finale Ligure a few years back, and we fell in love with the destination right from the word go! With a couple of reccy’s, then group after group, our knowledge of the area grew steadily. We knew it was time to set up a 3 or 4-day Enduro tour, taking in the best Finale has to offer.
Our accommodation is in the heart of Finale Ligure, ideally placed to make the most of the best riding in the area.
Each day we do 2 or 3 transfers with our mini-bus, equipped with a dedicated bike trailer.
The programme is flexible and can be tailored to your riding, your physical and technical level, the weather, etc.
Distances covered: 40 to 60km per day
Climbing: 700 to 1200 m per day
Descending: 1500 to 2500 m per day
