The Red Kite, known as La Flamme Rouge, marks the final kilometre of a cycling race, symbolizing the impending end of hard work and suffering. However, not all riders perceive this moment the same way. It’s akin to the last kilometre of a challenging Alpine pass like Iseran, Galibier, or Izoard. During one of our road bike trips along the Route des Grandes Alpes, our tour guide Damien gathered testimonials about what participants think during that final stretch of a pass. What thoughts occupy their minds at this moment?
This short film offers a glimpse into their experiences set against the stunning backdrop of the French Alps. Thank you, Damien!
