Road bike FrancePAIMPOL TO BREST Road biking along the dramatic coastline of Northern Brittany

A 7 day point to point itinerary that takes in the best of northern Brittany! A journey that takes us due west, from Paimpol to Brest, from the Trégor to the Leon. We take in the Pink Granite Coast, considered one of most beautiful coastlines in France, as well as the Chaos de Ploumanac'h, a chaotic cluster of granite boulders that take on a beautiful pink orange hue as the sun sets on the horizon. The undulating nature of the Breton countryside isn't to be underestimated! The gear ratios steadily drop as we approach the famous Monts d'Arrée, where the Col de Trédudon offers us a superb panoramic view, but forces us to forget our preconceived ideas about Brittany being flat… A superb descent towards Brest gives us the impression of arriving at the edge of the world…

Day 1  : Paimpol

Description of this tour in still in French.Translation is coming soon...

Distance parcourue : env. 70km / dénivelée positive : env. 650m

Day 2  :  Paimpol - Perros Guirec

Distance parcourue : env. 105 km / Dénivelée positive : env. 1050 m

Day 3 :  Perros Guirec - Plougasnou

Distance parcourue : env. 115 km / Dénivelée positive : env. 1250m

Day 4 :  Plougasnou - Morlaix

Distance parcourue : env. 105 km / Dénivelée positive : env. 1250m

Day 5 :  Morlaix - Landeda

Distance parcourue : env. 110 km / Dénivelée positive : env. 700m

Day 6 :  Landeda - Brest

Distance parcourue : env. 115 km / Dénivelée positive : env. 1150m

Day 7  :  Brest
