Andiamo for road cycling highlights of the Chianti, the Siena hills and the Casentino, the most beautiful part of Tuscany...Ref CR45
From Florence, we leave for a long loop through the Tuscan jewels: - The Casentino : this is the intimate part of the Tuscan mountains, with its forests of chestnut, pine and beech trees; the charm of its mountain villages and towns; its medieval fortresses and churches. - The shores of Lake Trasimeno. - The Crete Senese, or Sienese peaks: the hills seem to play leapfrog. They have always inspired the Sienese painters. - Siena: an astonishing concentration of monuments, each more beautiful than the other... - Chianti: vineyards, rows of cypress trees, woods, hills, perched villages... - And of course, Florence, one of the world's art capitals...
